  • Bathroom Faucet Color Trends – What Interior Designers’ Say

What Interior Designers' Suggest

There is no constant style, and the faucet color is present in the bathroom. The brands present different changes daily, and those colors are enough to make a surprise. Then these new faucet colors are followed by different homeowners and designers for the home, offices and other places. Nowadays, a recent trend is getting attention: metallic finishes. Metallic finishes help to reduce wear and tear—good metallic finishes like brushed nickel, chrome, and matte black resist abrasion and corrosion.

A few popular interiors, such as Joanna, Gaines, Nate Berkus, and Kelly Wearstler, discussed the latest trends in faucet colors. According to the designers, for a perfect bathroom, different things must be considered, like the bathroom's other fixtures' style and design. Select the metallic finish according to the remaining fixtures to make them pair, which helps minimize the variation.

Popular Trends of Bathroom Faucet Colors

As it's 2023 and new faucet color trends take the place of old ones and  which are described below.

Brushed Nickel

Brushed nickel looks like a chrome finish, but it is different. Due to the soft finish, it is effortless to clean, and it is not very, super shiny. It gives a smooth look to the faucets and is considered one of the long-lasting finishes.

Chrome

Chrome finish is famous among others because it increases the hardness of the faucet and makes it robust. It helps to withstand the faucet with the weather conditions and makes it more resistant. The chrome finish cleans the surface and removes the build-up.

Matte Black

The matte black finish makes the faucet prominent among other fixtures. It hides the spots and looks significantly cleaner than others. The matte black finish gives a unique feeling to the small and large bathrooms and kitchens. The visibility of these faucets is incredible.

Oil-Rubbed Bronze

This finish is dark in color and gives an aesthetic appearance. These kinds of faucets are preferable for traditional homes. Oil-rubbed bronze is also known as a living finish because of its look. It is a warm and antique finish. Oil-rubbed bronze is preferable over other faucets because it resists water spots.

Gold

Gold shows excellent resistance against normal wear and tear. The faucets with gold finish can easily bear the high temperature and provide heat protection. These faucets are classic and look luxurious in the bathroom and give an expensive look with resistance to corrosion and rust.

Pro Tip

When you are remodeling or renovating the bathroom, it is a pro tip that you must observe the main theme of the bathroom or kitchen where you want to place the faucet. It will look awkward if you set the mismatched contrast. For instance, a brushed nickel faucet looks good with a white sink, and a black waterfall faucet looks fantastic with a white sink. The towel railing showerhead must pay attention to other fixtures and choose a perfect faucet color. You must follow the designers' directions as well.
